  4. How to install The Puzzle
  5. -------------------------

  7. When your CD-ROM is in the drive simply click on 1setup.exe in the root from 
  8. a filemanager or explorer.
  9.  
  10. A setup screen will be showed. Click the 'Install game' botton and you will
  11. be guided through the setup of the game.
  12.  
  13. The Puzzle icon will be added to your startmenu, doubleclick here 
  14. now you are ready to play.

  17. Autorun in Windows 95

  20. If your operatingsystem is Windows 95, your  CD-ROM should run the (PLAYICON)
  21. autorun.exe by itself but some drives don't. You can fix that problem
  22. in the systempanel under the controlpanel. Choose the device manager tab 
  23. and doubleclick on the  CD-ROM icon. Choose the settings tab and find the check-
  24. box named autoshow information and click on it.

  35. For best (fast) result set screensize to 640*480
  36.  
  37. If the colours looks strange you have to set up your screenadapter to
  38. display 65535 colors or more in the control panel. Click on the display
  39. icon in the control panel and choose the settings tab. Click on the Color Palette
  40. combo box and choose either 16-bit or 24-bit. Restart your computer.
  41. Do you want to view an avi-movie in 256 display mode then use fullscreen,
  42. it will look okay.
  43. (In general For best frame rate performance,
  44. configure the graphics card for 8-bit color mode.  
  45. For best image quality, use 24-bit color mode.)

  50. We advise you to install The Puzzle on your harddrive (c:\) in order to get the 
  51. best performance.

  53. Mouse-extra: It is possible with your right mousebutton to click on the running
  54. movie in the puzzle movieplayer (normal screen) and get new choises to view. 
  55. You can set the movie to play half normal or double size, 
  56. a curser is available for volume control and speed of the movie you are watching, 
  57. also an open /close ,copy, configure and command dialog box appears.
  58. Also: If you got a fast computer(min:486 dx2 66MHz) try to run the avi movie 
  59. in the extra\goodies folder
  60. use the browse button to activate your filemaneger 
  61. From here you can also install the screensaver!(it works on Windows 95 !!) 
  62. the screensaver will be put in: c:\waycool\Fvswcavi.avi st4unst.log   Fvswcavi.txt 
  63. AND uses 14Mb space ON HARDDRIVE!
  64. THE XTRA.AVI WILL ONLY WORK ON A 486 DX2 66 - OR BETTER (PENTIUM )
